Battle of the Ages The appetite for samurai-style sword fighting lives on as futuristic Power Rangers confront medieval ninjas, or assassins, in a battle staged at the Toei Uzumasa Eigamura movie-studio theme park in Kyoto. Though the samurai class,highest of four hereditary classes once recognized in Japan,was dissolved in 1876, the Japanese warrior has remained immortal in films, television, comic books, and novels.
